A few years ago, Dragana and I discovered the work of New Jersey-based artist Joann Doneen, when she had her "Earth Gesture" solo exhibition in Philadelphia. Ever since then, I've had the postcard for that show tacked to my wall. Her large-scale mixed media works are more immense and immersive than a lowly jpeg can express, so I suggest you seek her work out to view in person.
